Description
Introduces basic concepts of Regression. Specific topics covered include: Simple Regression, Binary Logistic Regression, Multiple Regression. Course will use MINITAB statistical software. Duration - 16 hours.

Goal
Understand appropriate type of regression to use, how to create a regression model, check the model for validity and use the model created.

Binary Logistic Regression Response and Predictors Model Validity Interpretation of Results and Use of Model	Multiple Regression Response and Predictors Correlation Screening of Predictors Model Creation Residual Analysis and Patterns Interpretation and Use of Model

Results
Upon successful completion of the training, participants will have demonstrated the ability to:

1. Choose appropriate regression method for building a predictive model.
2. Recognize the risks associated with building a regression model.
3. Use historical data to create a simple linear regression model, interpret the results and use the model
4. Use historical data to create a binary logistic regression model, interpret the results and use the model.
5. Use historical data to create a multiple regression model, interpret the results and use the model.
6. Recognize importance of residual analysis when constructing regression models for variable / continuous response data.
